Description DUTIES / ACTIVITIES: CUSTOMER SERVICE: Responsible for driving the FMS culture through values and customer service standards. Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner. Participates in training of facility staff in the principles, concepts and practice of the FMS Customer Service Model. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES PATIENT RELATED Provides safe and effective training, direct patient care and delivery of home dialysis therapies to patients in compliance with standards outlined in the facility policy and procedure manuals, as well as regulations set forth by the FMCNA, state and federal agencies. Rotates with other licensed staff/Home Caregivers to ensure adequate coverage. Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned. Participates in all required staff meetings as scheduled. Assists in the identification and evaluation of candidates for the FMS Home Therapies Program, i Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.). Current appropriate state licensure as a registered nurse. Minimum of 2 years of hemodialysis nursing experience required, home hemodialysis preferred. Medical-surgical nursing experience and ICU experience preferred Three months Home Therapies experience preferred. Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of dialysis therapies. Competent at operating all Home Therapies related equipment. Able to work independently to manage emergencies. Successfully complete CPR certification with maintenance as required. Employees must meet the necessary requirements of Ishihara’s Color Blindness test.
